About Me
Patrick Cedrowski is a software engineer currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Head of Product at Localized. Using various AI tools and industry-oriented events, Localized helps students from emerging markets define their careers and land jobs via access to hundreds of industry experts. He is also an entrepreneur who launched a tech startup, Inlet Media, based in New York, NY. Inlet allows content creators to host and manage their Podcasts using an automated AI-powered platform.
Recognized as a proficient software developer, he was the lead software architect for the launch of “Wellow,” WeightWatcher’s first Alexa / Google Assistant app that makes it easy for customers to track food intake and manage the platform’s points system. He is passionate about emerging technological trends and believes in mentoring younger engineers to help them better understand the working environment and guide them in choosing the best paths forward for their software careers.
Similar to many software engineers and product developers, he has a wide range of tech industry expertise and experience, from backend API development to SaaS deployment and mobile app development. He knows newer technologies, including AI, LLM orchestration, and augmented reality. These cutting-edge software platforms can dramatically streamline business operations and improve customer engagement.
EDUCATION
Patrick’s interest in computers started very early. He grew up in a strict household where academics were keenly stressed. He graduated from Montclair Kimberley Academy, a top-ranked private school in New Jersey and an Apple Distinguished School. At MKA, he had access to fundamental programming tools and mathematical courses, which sparked his interest in building coded solutions that solve abstract and complex problems.
He attended Montclair State University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics. His interest in Physics was so strong that he engaged in the independent study of subatomic particles. Because of his strong scientific and mathematical acumen, he realized that computer science was a logical career path. Therefore, he obtained a Master of Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, focusing on Software Engineering and Cyber Security.
Cedrowski believes in continuing education to remain current on emerging software technologies and certifications. He is a Certified Reviewer for Java, Node, and Javascript, a Certified Scrum Master, and has many other software certifications, including the Android Developer Certification and the AWS Cloud Certification.

EXPERIENCE
CTO and Head of Product at Localized
At Localized, he manages a team of frontend, backend, and mobile engineers in product development. As part of his SCRUM framework expertise, he leads his teams using AGILE ceremonies to plan and track projects to fulfill corporate and stakeholder objectives. He has initiated a rewrite of the company’s React Native mobile application and has built a data collection pipeline and Data Lake solutions.
Co-Founder and CTO of Inlet
As co-founder of Inlet, a digital platform that optimizes live streaming videos focusing on low latency and high-scalability HLS technology, Cedrowski has led his product and tech teams to launch Inlet TV & Inlet Studio, two multimedia platforms that businesses of all sizes can use to engage customers using live-linear streaming technology. Most recently, Inlet pivoted into an AI-driven platform for podcasting aimed to help content creators distribute, manage, and monetize their podcasts on Spotify and iTunes. He and his teams use full-stack NextJS, React, and microservice architecture with Mongo, Redis, Kafka (event-driven), and GraphQL for SaaS development.
Mobile Engineering Manager at WW (formerly Weight Watchers)
Patrick managed 3 product teams, including frontend and backend engineers, resulting in increased team production using automated code analysis, testing, and continuous deployments (95% test coverage with 0.0009% error rate). He was the primary software architect for Event Drive stacks built with Kafka. He also introduced GraphQL via Apollo Federation for all microservices. He was credited with launching Wellow, a Google Assistant and Alexa application built to track complex food queries and handle WeightWatchers use cases.
Vice President of Engineering at Apprentice.io
At Apprentice, Patrick Cedrowski built a team of Fullstack and Android software engineers and Android engineers to support the company’s pharmaceutical and biotech applications. He was also the architect for three essential products: AR video conferencing, wearable manuals, and the Hands-free lab toolkit. He also implemented audit-compatible breadcrumbs for all user actions and led formal SCRUM ceremonies while maintaining software release cycles.
PERSONAL LIFE
Cedrowski’s parents are first-generation Polish Americans who ensured he grew up speaking their native language fluently. He now lives in New Jersey with his wife and three children. Health, wellness, and nutrition are essential to the Cedrowsk family. They enjoy many outdoor recreations, especially tennis, which he has played tournament-level tennis since he was young.
He has always been capable of adept critical thinking and abstract reasoning, which are vital skills for a software engineering professional. He likely honed his thinking processes by being an avid chess player, and he still enjoys regularly participating in online chess competitions.
Patrick Cedrowski has a passion for photography and finds plenty of subject matter in and around New York and New Jersey to photograph. Photography has also sharpened his graphic design skills, as he can provide Photoshopped-ready content for his clients.
